Which restaurants in Prague serve Gluten-Free?
Lets me show you some fine dining restaurants in Prague. I have eaten at most of them. If I have not tried it, I have read extensive reviews in my native language since Czech people can be critical. The only way you truly know is when you read a Czech review!!!
Unfortunately, many restaurants were forced to closed doors forever due to Covid Pandemic, which is very sad. Some of those were truly gems to eat there. I will not post all of the closed ones, but one which everyone recommends is below.
Svejk u Karla
Every blog you will open tells you about this restaurant. It used to be a fabulous gluten-free restaurant in Prague that everyone likes to recommend to anyone visiting. But it looks like Covid took its tool on this amazing restaurant. It is not open anymore. They did open an E-shop, and you can find a link on their website for former restaurants.
Restaurant Alriso Risotteria Italiana
The Alriso Risotteria Italiana restaurant has the adjective “risotteria” Italiana in the name. The main ingredient they focus on is rice. Rice in various forms for most dishes, from appetizers to desserts. The local menu is completely Gluten-Free, but at the same time not boring and very tasty. It will satisfy not only gluten-free people but also lovers of Italian cuisine, meat, and seafood.

Betlémské nám. 11/259, Praha 1
Lavende Restaurant
This restaurant is perfect for people who are celiac or vegetarian. This restaurant is not right in a tourist area where you probably spent all day, but every place in Prague has its own charm. After you eat dinner, you can take a stroll down the river to an amazing place called Strelecky Ostrov, a little island in the river. We usually take kids after nice lunch to nearby “Kids Island” to play at.

Podolka Restaurant
Podolka Restaurant has two locations: one in Podolí and the other in Karlín. Both prepare their dishes from natural ingredients and offer many Gluten-Free options on the menu, which are prepared safely for celiacs. I have experience only from the Karlin location but reviews for both are really good. I would recommend checking if you need a reservation. Otherwise, you might wait a bit for a table if you show up in a rush hour.
The Podoli location sits by the river with a beautiful view. Also, ask for table outside and enjoy beautiful weather when you get there.

Coffee & Waffles
If you are nearby Old Town Square and you have an appetite for all-day breakfast, this place will be perfect for you. When you order Gluten-free, you will pay about$1 extra, but it is worth every penny. You can have savory or sweet waffles, and they are delicious!!!

Location: Valentinská 1061/6, 110 00 Staré Město
Veget bistro café
This bistro is right by Wenceslas Square. It is an amazing place for breakfast or light lunch. Who does not like breakfast all day, right? If you are looking for a quick snack/lunch, this is the place to stop by. It is a little bit hard to find, as it is a tiny place. Just look for the store sign above the door.
Location: Štěpánská 631, 110 00 Nové Město,
Arepas de Lyna
I know this restaurant is not traditional Czech food, but it is worth trying. You will experience a beautiful Venezuelan atmosphere in the middle of Prague. I would describe this food as delicious and tasty street food! I really like this restaurant. It is a small place, so in non-pandemic time, you have to be lucky to grab a table. They offer only curbside pick-up or delivery. Hopefully, that will change soon.
